Kiwi, mint and lime

Considered by some to be New Zealand’s finest gift to the Northern Hemisphere, kiwis are small, brown-skinned fruit with emerald green, sweet, buttery flesh. They have the best flavor when they are slightly soft to the touch. Allow to ripen at room temperature, then remove the peel with a knife.

The light green color of this smoothie is as refreshing as its flavors. The mint from a garden gives just the right touch of delicate freshness without affecting the texture.

So pretty! I really like kiwis, but tend to forget about buying them. I'll have to pick up a few for this smoothie.
